The AES Charging model
For 1-9 workers hired through AES
For between 1 to 9 workers contracted, our search fees are 12% of the workers annual salary, calculated simply as hourly rate multiplied by 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, and 52 weeks a year, plus 9.5% superannuation,
So for an hourly rate of $20.33 (Horticultural award level 1)
“Annual Salary” becomes: $20.33 x 8 x 5 x 52 x 1.095 = $46,303.61 pa
(That is, a base hourly rate of $20.33 an hour, excluding overtime and allowances works out to a basic annual wage of $46,303.61 pa.)
So our agency fee is 12% x $46,303.61 = $5,556.43 plus GST.
For 10 or more workers hired through AES
For 10 workers or more, our search fees drop to 10% of the workers “Annual salary”, calculated at 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, and 52 weeks a year, plus 9.5% superannuation.
So for an hourly rate of $20.33 (Horticultural award level 1)
Our agency fee is 10% x $46,303.61 = $4,630.36 plus GST.
Option to Spread Agency Fees over 12/24/36 months
If you like, you can spread our fees over 12 / 24 /36 months. You can calculate the monthly fees by simply multiplying the basic hourly wage by the multiplier in the table below.
Pricing Table using a sample rate of $20.33 per hour
1 - 9 Workers | (12%) | Upfront | 12 mths | 24 mths | 36 mths |
Multiplier | 273.12 | 24.8 | 13 | 9.1
Hourly rate | $20.33 | ||||
Fees payable (excl GST) | $5,553 once | $504 pm | $264 pm | $185 pm
>10 Workers | (10%) | Upfront | 12 mths | 24 mths | 36 mths |
Multiplier | 227.76 | 20.7 | 10.9 | 7.6
Hourly rate | $20.33 | ||||
Fees payable (excl GST) | $4,630 once | $420 pm | $221 pm | $154 pm
Multiply the hourly rate by the multiplier to determine the fees payable
Placement Warranty
Worker placements are guaranteed for 6 months, and if the workers do not perform or are repatriated for any reason during this period, AES will recruit another person to fill the placement at no additional charge.
For employers choosing to use a monthly payment plan, AES will forfeit the remaining monthly payments if the worker returns before the end of the 12/24 /36 month duration. For example, if a worker on a 24 month payment plan leaves after 18 months, AES will forfeit the remaining 6 months, and no further payments are required.
If the worker is replaced by AES, we will consider this as a new worker and the agency fees will be due from the date the new worker starts work.
